Father's Day Edition

Happy Father's Day to all the Fathers. Luckily I get to be in this club and no one can kick me out.

Olivia is 9 weeks old now. She got all of her shots at the doctor this weekend and she was not too happy on Sunday, but I know the tricks to get her to sleep. A nice 1 hour long stroller ride helped calm her down.

As usual, here are a million pictures from the last week.

She slept 4 hours Sunday afternoon.
the best baby distractor ever: the cradle swing.

She cries. No one believes me. Here's the proof.

Grandma and Grandpa Callaway visited this week; along with Heather and Trevor. They were brought
to Los Angeles in the Kim Rennier 2000 Mile Taxi Ride. I heard she was speeding and did not get a nice tip.

You'd think they were really having a conversation from this picture.
it's not my fault. She's spoiled.

The park where we often walk.

If only the smiles were like this all the time (I can hear her crying like a crazy person in the next room as I type this)

Another scary dictator pose.

Playtime Begins

This week, Olivia managed to get herself a cradle swing. She seems to enjoy it and fall asleep in it. I think she is addicted to it. I don't know how though, the speed seems pretty fast. I would throw up on it, but she likes it.

She also continues her use of learning about her hands and fingers and her love of naps on our bed.

We took Olivia out for her first trip somewhere in the car that wasn't the doctors. We took her to our favorite burger place, Submariners. Which of course happens to be owned and operated by a Korean family.

No burgers for you. Just watch us.

Stroller rides are starting to become a daily habit whenever it's not too windy. We're still about 2 miles from the ocean, but the wind and breeze can cool things down quickly.

Thinking pose?

The mobile addiction continues.
The new cradle swing.
Got caught with formula all over the place.
On the stomach, playtime. On the couch.

I like to teach Olivia about the trees and plants in the front yard.

Scary bear.

Continues mocking us.

She sleeps with toys piled on her head.
Big hair is back.

Her best "Blue Steel" impression.

Doesn't want to be disturbed.
Very common scene in our house.
